And you have to charge the Battery Bank now lmao.....so instead of 1 simple thing to charge, you have 2? Not worth $70 by far...I think it should be rentable, or practical causes

The price is a little steep, but many of us who find ourselves in airplanes and airports most of our waking hours might find a quick charge convenient and I rarely have access to a power plug during a busy day. I carry 3 extra batteries with me on the road (air) and charging this device would probably be easier than keeping up with which one is used or fresh. I carry an instinct for work only purposes and between two phones a laptop and extra touchpro batteries....just getting everything back into the briefcase and ready for security is a hassle before leaving the hotel every morning....(especially with those short 5 hours in the room overnights.) Not having to pull the back off the phone twice a day would be nice too...... maybe someone will copy this with a more reasonable price.....

Re: HTC Battery Bank!

There a cheaper solution, It's called use your car charger,or your cable to charge at your desk. Would never buy that.

Energizer

I picked up one of the Energizer Energi To Go mini USB chargers at Target for $9.99. Has 2 AA, I've used it 2 or 3 times now and haven't changed batteries.

Re: HTC Battery Bank!

What kind of usage have you gotten out of 1 set of batteries so far?
Talk time/standby, approximately.

I used this as well. I give it two thumbs up. I connected this to my mini-USB while I was at a Fantasy Baseball draft and connected to ESPN.com all day(7+ hours, don't ask, worst draft ever) updating everyone's online rosters and when we were done I had a full battery on my phone and there was still some juice in the AA batteries. Not much juice left but for constant internet use all day, I was happy with it. And I got mine at the checkout line at Menards for $7.99, batteries included.

Re: HTC Battery Bank!

I have 3 batteries but I always carry just 1 spare. So I have 2 total with me.
I never needed the third as I am near a power supply by the time the second battery is depleted which is rare.
But that energizer unit is good to have around in case of a power outage, etc.
Certain states have powers outages constantly during certain times of the year but I guess you can always charge your device using a car battery.

You know that's a pretty good idea. I actually have a Black and Decker booster out in the garage. I'm gonna give that a go.

True, but I picked-up a cheap black & decker backup power supply, with AC and USB that charges my phone 3-4 times and it was $16. Not as pocket friendly, but it works.
