Re: HTC Battery Bank!

If I ever hike the Appalachian Trail or climb Mt. Everest, I'll make sure to bring a couple of these along

Re: HTC Battery Bank!

I found this gizmo at Pocket Solutions for $15 and added to my hurricane box. Just pop in some AA batteries and your good for days.

Re: HTC Battery Bank!

The problem for me with carrying a spare battery is trying to keep them both charged. With the old 6700 you had a dock to charge the spare battery. Now you have to take the battery out which involves me removing my Seidio case and my battery cover.

Re: HTC Battery Bank!

A fully charged spare battery can be stored for a long time and maintain its charge with extremely low discharge.
Great thing about Lithium

Re: HTC Battery Bank!

I've been using muegen power's 3000mAH battery in my phone. It double's the phones thickness. But I can rune 3-4 days on a single charge. Plus the battery's entire size is available instead of having to charge from one battery to another.

Heh, the portable computer device sure changed alot of things. I remember when the "battery-powered battery charger" was just a joke in a Garfield comic. Now these things sell all the time to make up for the fact that the product isn't shipped with the battery it should have gotten in the first place.
