lololol "factual rumors". now its in this thread too? so yeah, what is the status of the diamond? I started a thread once already about the subject and got no real answer but what is diamond being replaced by? tp2?

Ok, let me restate my question another way?

1. Is the Diamond discontinued on Sprint?
2. If yes, what will it be replaced with:
a. Diamond 2?
b. HTC HD?
c. HTC Star (Firestone)?

Well I was amused last week that the guys here at my Sprint store are reporting that there's a lot of secrecy happening now because of all the Palm Pre leaks.

Yes for sprint it will be discontinued pretty soon, within a month or 2, and right based on some rumors, it looks like it might be the touch hd replacing it.

Why on earth would you jump to att over sprint.

Att has
-more expensive plans
-Very poor network, dropped calls very often
-there customer service reps can get very rude at times
-there 3g network is a joke, its more like 2g and half
-No unlimited data plus minutes plans which comes out to cost very much on att
-only reason there still #1 in customers is because of the Iphone which holds 43% of its customers.

I think Sprint will actually pick up the Omnia 2, not the Touch HD. Call it intuition, lol But I'm looking at when Samsung is planning to drop their phones.....and I'm pretty much betting on the Omnia 2.

Not the Omnia Pro (Competes with Touch Pro 2)
Not the Omnia Lite (What's the point?)
Not the Touch HD (Might as well have the Omnia 2)
Not the Xperia 2 (Again, competes with Touch Pro 2)

All signs point to the Omnia 2 as the Diamonds replacement, me thinks. Mark this day!!! I said it!!! LOL

Well I asked the guys at the sprint store in Houston off 518 in Pearland and they said they ARE receiving training for the touch pro 2 already. I took it with a grain of salt but Im just passing it on.
