Re: Diamond2 and Touch Pro2 announced by HTC
I like the flushed out keyboard, the TP keyboard keys are crammed too close together. It's not a major upgrade, but I'll likely take the bait anyway. I just hope HTC fixed the overheating issues from the first gen Touch Pros (although I doubt it).

Re: HTC Announces Touch Diamond 2 & Touch Pro 2
i dont think either of these qualify as a touchhd equivelent or "better release" like htc said in the past.
neither design is beautiful as the hd, neither have the same size screen as the hd (hd is still larger), and neither have a 3.5mm headphone jack. discuss. |

Re: HTC Announces Touch Diamond 2 & Touch Pro 2
Yeah, almost, except for all the buttons and freakin' full QWERTY. Really looks like an iPhone
Did I lay the sarcasm on thick enough?

Re: New Diamond and TP revelealed at MWC
Seems strange that they are releasing these phone when HTC announced that they will be releasing Snapdragon (1GHz of CPU power) based handsets in Q2 2009, I think I will wait and see what comes out next.

Now, not having the 3.5mm is a big disappointment. Honestly, what were they thinking?! |

Re: New Diamond and TP revelealed at MWC
These phones are for the GSM networks, and from my understanding WCDMA is not the same as CDMA so us sprint users wont get them. someone correct me if im wrong.
Network HSDPA/WCDMA: Europe/Asia: 900/2100 MHz Up to 2 Mbps up-link and 7.2 Mbps down-link speeds Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE: Europe/Asia: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz (Band frequency, HSUPA availability, and data speed are operator dependent.)
