I noticed in the video for the touch pro 2 they had a mute button on the back of the phone and I didnt see a flashlight for the camera. No flashlight. Thats why I bought the phone so I can see under desks when I am fixing computers. awwww maaaan. lol. Still that sucks no flash from what I saw. Anyone else notice that?

Those are the GSM phones. CDMA phones always need larger batteries, since CDMA is a soul sucking nightmare battery hog.

The CDMA versions will have larger batteries and shorter battery life.

Larger resolution screen is useful, but the OS needs to be 6.5.
I only have had my TP for a few months, and with a two year contract, maybe I can upgrade to the TP3?

In regards to the video of the Diamond2, it looks like they replaced the Start Menu with something similar to the Programs tab in TouchFLO 3D.

EDIT: Watching the video on the TP2, it's nice that they added the ability to turn off/reorder tabs right into the interface of TouchFLO 3D. They may have possibly also removed the flash for the camera? Unless they managed to build it into the lens somehow, they seem to have replaced it with a mute button for the speakerphone. I also liked the larger keyboard. That said though, I'll probably just stick with my TP until the next round, this doesn't seem to be much of an upgrade past the screen.

POSSIBLY WINMO 6.5 ON DIAMOND 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

watching the keynote now, in the background you can see the diamond 2 running 6.5
despite specs sayng its shipping with 6.1
