The TP2 looks nice but what will Verizon take away from its version? That will be the deciding factor if I buy one. Or I might just have to go buy a Sprint version and put it on VZW network.

The screen alone is worth the upgrade IMO.

D2 does look nice, but I love keyboards for some reason. Both are pretty sweet, Kudos for putting a SD slot on the D2. Maybe I will get both and just have fun.

I will pass this up and I hope Sprint does too... We need a device with some more raw specs increasing. Faster CPU or more RAM at the VERY least.

Looks like HTC fixed all the shortcomings of TP1. The CPU/RAM/ROM was not the problem in the TP1. It was the craptastic speakerphone, small screen, and scroll wheel.

The phone looks like a dream to me. Ive only had my TP for about a month. My only wishes about my TP has been fixed.

For those of you who dont know, at the mobile conference HTC announced the Touch Pro 2 and Diamond 2, both of which got significant upgrades in the UI experience. If we were able to take the new HD theme and apply it to custom ROMS, will we be able to take the sweet upgrades to TF3D from these phones to ours?

I agree with Subdawg,

its just a fix of what they did wrong. With the exception of no flash, but I can care less about that.

Some will just wait for a new one, because money is tight now a days. I am lucky to be able to buy another phone. I will have my piece of dirt Mogul, the TP and the TP2 or D2.

Im still looking at the TG01 but it may be too big, still want to see whats up with that HTC Snagdragon phone.

Heavily Updated version of TF3D.

What i'm really disappointed in is that they upgraded the diamond 2 a lot more.

5MP camera
MicroSD card slot

The Touch Pro 2 still has the same freakin 3.2 mp camera and I think they took away the Flash.
