Windows Mobile 6.5 next month?

Without TF3D and other UI enhancements to WM, WM is really old and not so attractive. I do hope that MSFT will learn and implement graphic fluidity to their OS. A catchy UI that is simple and still efficient is all you need when it is paired with a good device to sell lots.

The catchiness is a good point. I read a PCWorld article that showed the basic UI's of each platform [Symbian, iPhone, WM, and Nokia] side-by-side. Pretty much the article had that picture, and said "Need we say more?"

That may be a bit harsh, but it's true. Windows Mobile is hidious without TF3D

Yup. And so many basic things can be done to enhance the UI. For example, MS should redesign the scroll bars to look nicer, the radio buttons/check boxes need to have more flavor, popup dialogues need nicer top bars, and all buttons need to be more appealing.

Seems like it... I wouldnt mind having "Dead Mode", where everything shuts down and is in super-low powermode with only the phone radio being on.. I mean sgutting everything down except that.. Shutting down ALL apps, executions, radios, sensors, no hardware running except radio

Well, for holidays it does [works on annually recurring events]
But for weekly indefinitely recurring events, it fails to sync.

That's a good idea. They should allow you to set the battery capacity that it's activated at. You can only receive/make calls. Great for emergencies!

I don't know why a "dead" mode didn't exist from the start... I LOOKED for this feature when I got my WM phone and just shook my head when I couldn't find it... Ah well...

Not on mine. I have weekly recurring events that go on forever and they sync just fine. I have "Take the garbage out" every week and "Take the recycling out" every other week that never end. No problems.

on pdamobiz they posted a wm6.5 rom beta ofcourse with working camera
but not chinnese so can anyone that can download this rom share thanks it also includes alot of new builds for voice command and windows mobile live messenger and other htc appls?
