Re: Windows Mobile 6.5 next month?
Whatever happened to this?
http://www.engadget.com/2008/01/06/i...dows-mobile-7/ If the new hexagonal images are to be believed, it's a step backwards. And the images in the above link are not some shopped, basement renderings. That's some serious advancement there that would have taken weeks to put together, if fake. Either 6.5 is a minor upgrade and 7 becomes a huge upgrade in late '09, or one of these sets of images are bogus. I still see this latest report as having incorrect imagery, i.e. Start menu icons differing, etc. |

They should just hand it over to the Geeks+XDA and it would be up, running, and out there in a couple of weeks!!!

Re: Windows Mobile 6.5 next month?
I'm wodering with the significant changes that are suggested in the screenshots for WM6.5 if we will see updates for newer phones.
I would think (or hope) any of the new phones that came preloaded with 6.1 will get the 6.5 upgrade (like my Omnia). Anything with 6.0 more than likely will not see an official update. Hoewever, once the 6.5 release comes out I'm sure it will only be a matter of time before ppc geeks or XDA has it available for all to use. I can't wait to see this and can only hope it is not another baby step like what we saw in 6.1). |
