Yes people, Microsoft released wm 6.1 today but the downfall is that its now up to the carriers to release it to theyre pda's and smartphones....sprint is supposedly releasing by the summer!!!

hate to rain on your parade, but until sprint says we are getting it, then it is not official yet. So unless Sprint says so, i would not believe it. I spoke again with Latisha Brown at executive customer service and she would not comment on it, other then saying orginally that sprint wanted to introduct the modul with windows 6.1 and then 6.1 was delayed. So lets hope we do get it. I cant wait to see it...

This is hardly news, there are "insiders" here (and rumors) that have been saying both the Mogul and the Touch would get 6.1 around June-July...

If you really want official, wait until Sprint puts out a press release, until then, we are in the same spot.

I've already got it and love it... why wait for sprint to flub it up in 3-4 months vs. getting it NOW and better than sprint could ever build it... No2chem's Nuerom 2.0 WmM6.1 w/GPS & Rev. A... what are you really waiting for?

Here here bro, I agree but the only thing is maybe the official release will be much more stable like the beta radio and sprints radio is just so much better then3.16

Your right this isn't from a sprint press release, however this is the most creditable source we've seen this info from yet.
