Re: Sprint Denies PPC customers from sending picmail
Kansas City is a great area, you just have to decide if you want to go into the belly of the beast if Sprint really wanted you. You might come out, you might not. Either way, it's no sure thing like if you went to at&t, VZW, or T-Mobile.

Re: Sprint Denies PPC customers from sending picmail
I would have no problem fully developing this App for Sprint, but I don't think Sprint would even offer. And now days Sprint has a major disconnect with their customers, I doubt anyone high up even knows about sMMS. Or even the MMS issue.

Re: Sprint Denies PPC customers from sending picmail
There is a way to send picture messages to others. It's kind of a hassle and stupid that it has to be done this way but it can be done.
Basically email a picture to yourself as an attachment (add an imap account or something to your ppc). Email it to yournumber@pm.sprint.com (example 8182223333@pm.sprint.com). You will get a text message saying you got new picture mail. View the picture mail (it will pull up in internet explorer), then forward it to the phone number of the person you want to send it to. Since this way does not use the address book you will have to actually know the phone number (or copy/paste it from your address book). Yes this is a hassle but it is a temporary solution. Note this will be considered data usage on your phone along with a txt message that you will get from the link. |

Re: Sprint Denies PPC customers from sending picmail
That does work, cobrabk, but you should REALLY check out SomeGuy's sMMS app on this site. It does away with all that hassle. Makes PicMail a very simple process.
