*ahem* theirs a rom for 6.5 for the Q, its not so much that no one wants to do it. Its simply because the Q is so difficult. Also I know Conflipper has been really busy with his move, and Im sure with Xmas he out this on the backburner. I seriously doubt he'd just give up as knowledgable as he is.

I would definetly be willing to test this once it becomes active, have a Q I never got rid of because I love the keyboard on it. Its a simple but great phone in need of an upgrade.

Just found this threat by accident. Amazing and a shame if this project dies. I still have my Motorola Q8 GSM original liberated, love it. Is this flash supposed to work on my unit?

Thanks
Thomas

Idk, I think it was supposed to be for CDMA Q's.

They are nice phones considering their age, but it would be nice to at least see a nice 6.1 for them....I like the ease of use, but the texting and other stock apps are really showing thier age....They are great stand-bys though when you consider you can buy refurb ones for 40-45 and they sync with Outlook every time....I remember the Diamond and Pro sometimes giving a fit just to do that...

Theres no known flash support for the Q however alot of people were having good luck with Skyfires older browser and TCPMP Player. I had the best luck with Skyfire altho the browser is a little confusing at first.

It does work for both the CDMA and the GSM (not to berate you :) )
