Re: froyo?
windows mobile 6.5 roms were available on the tp2 loooong before the official update came out. is it like that for android or does everything have to be official before it can be tweaked?

Re: froyo?
No. There have been ROMs waiting for Android devices too. It will happen for the Droid once the source is released or once they figure out how to deodex the dump that is out there.

Re: froyo?
An OS that is 450% faster, FLASH!, apps installed to SD, voice dialing over bluetooth, and a better update system for the market. I'm very much wanting Froyo.

Re: froyo?
I wish the OS was 450% faster in 2.2...haha. I got an iPad and I have to admit that Android simply does not compare to the iPhone OS in buttery smoothness, and I wish it did. The iPhone OS has impressed me so far. I'm not saying it's better, they are just different, both with pros and cons. Anyway, if 2.2 could smooth things out a little I would be very happy.
