Verizon Releases the 2.1 update

I looked through the update change log, thinking something in there would be of interest. Anyone running any current ESE53 rom has everything that is in the update. It will be great for non-roots to get access to live wallpapers and the improved gallery and whatnot (I know they can already use the gallery but they currently have 2 of them).

For everyone running stock, I hope VZW gets this to you all soon. I guess it will be nice for rom makers to have a legit base to build on though, instead of a leak, even tho the official is ESE53 also...

it got delayed. but if you havent rooted ur phone yet you should....now i could care less about the update

i got the update from this site from what i see now i wish i would have just rooted my phone and called it a day but decided to take the lazy way out since i woke up and decided to start looking for this at 4 am for some reason. now that i found the 2.1 one i feel like i should have taken some sleeping pills and just went back to bed. i was hoping for something spectacular. and got a rock for my bday. yes today is my bday. know im assuming i will have to wait to root my phone which is going to be fun to learn. im good with windows mobile phone we will see how much of a pain this will be. if anyone would like to help me or wants that zip let me know i will post the site, or i could just do it now thats what happens when ur tired lol.

Well happy b-day anyway. LOL. There were many warnings about this. Since I am rooted and running DM 1.0, I was triple checking to make sure there was no way for me to be accidentally updated. I hate being locked out of customizing. I always let others test out the software before I go for it.

Happy Birthday. I'm with Tvandyck7. I have no clue how to write prgrams and stuff. I would rather sit back and wait for the experts to do it so I don't kill my phone. Coming from a Touch Pro W and flashing lots of rom and little things getting messed up I chose to go with droidmod and keep it simple. I have no complaints whatsoever. Should have gotten a droid sooner.
