I just flashed to stock, just need to re root. If this works, I will try it again from sholes.

Rolijen, what rom did you run before?

I was on AdamZ's Smoked Glass 4.1. Very cool rom but not nearly as fast as Adryn's first attempt here.
This bodes well for us. Oh, what wonders await?!

Re: Throwing this out there...

Adrynalyne,

Your first rom 'smokes' the Smoked Glass rom in overall performance. There is one thing however that I prefer on Smoked Glass and that is the black notification bar. Coming back to white just reminds me how ugly the white notification bar is. Please consider the black bar for the future. Thanks!

Re: Throwing this out there...

I have had no luck with Bugless Beast, Stock, Sholes or smoked glass. I have tried redownloading the file, with or without data, without boot once... I don't know what else to try. Am I doing something wrong?

Rolijen, have you considered just using a theme with metamorph?

Re: Throwing this out there...

I'm trying to find a certain framework-res mod that s been around for a while. It was a transparent notification shade and the top bar was dark with a granite like texture. Anyone know where I can find it?

Well, crud.

Have you tried wiping data/factory reset from sprecovery before flashing?

Re: Throwing this out there...

Have you tried it using a boot flash from a known working Nandroid?

I am not 100% sure what that is. I am still relatively new to Android. I have been trying a nandroid restore from recovery. I have only flashed this way or from an update file on the SD card.
