How many would be interested in me posting a Nandroid backup of my ROM?

Its nothing particularly special; I am going for lean and mean. Those who remember me from my winmo cooking days know how I roll ;)

I would be. However I haven't rooted my droid yet, I am trying to wait until the official 2.1 update is released before I try to root. But once I do I would definitely like to see your Rom's. I was running one of your winmo Rom's on my Omnia I prior to getting the driod and it was awesome.

Mamba, if you wait for 2.1 you might have to wait quite a while for someone to root it. If you root now you can play while you wait :) Also, when 2.1 comes out, you can go back to stock 2.0.1 in a few minutes and get the 2.1 update.

I was a faithful follower of your WinMo work. I suppose I would need some sort of comparison of the benefits of your Droid ROM as compared to alternatives, say, AdamZ's Smoked Glass and Pete's Bugless Beast, in order to answer. Those are just the two I've been familiar with of late.

The restore would leave : DATA intact?

Used your roms on my outdated wm devices :) lol
Glad to see you over here on android now, be nice to see what you
can bring to the table. I will favorite this post and keep watch for it.
