At the sholes site they say it's in the market for $5 but they'll be releasing the APK for free in a few days.

It's definately a nice way to go if you don't want to make it quick and easy. It will also update your rom for you automatically.

If you install this app and get rooted, can you flash other roms and disable the auto update?

Very cool app. Lots of options. I recommend it to anyone that has not yet rooted.

Still works, it just will not root your phone first. Check out the links in the first post.

Not much different. The screen still is the battery hog. It might account for 3-4% difference, I haven't noticed a change.
