if you go into the sense settings tab/personalize/home tab wallpaper/skin taskbar and softkeybar you can set it to you current wallpaper so it will all be the same...

Re: [ROM] Project: Teya 1.3.0 [23-Dec-2010]

I have been an Energy Cookie user with a few forays into some of his other versions since they were available. After reading about the Project Teya and investigating, I tried it last night.

Great ROM. Very snappy and battery life is better than most of my Energy versions.

One problem, I can't find contacts with the exception of what is under the phone function. I am used to the Windows mobile version where I can choose the "company" view as opposed to the HTC version which is only listed by names. .. Any suggestions?

So very happy with this ROM after using Energy for so many months. I've been on Teya since 1.1, and am very happy thus far.

There are two little bugs that I've found, and would love to have squashed since the WinPho7 train doesn't seem to be coming to Verizon soon enough.

1. Proximity Sensor: If I switch it off and then back on, it works great, for a single pocket entry. Once I pull it out, it needs to be turned off and back on again to work.

2. I can't seem to sync it to my Nissan's Bluetooth. Not a huge turn off, but an interesting issue. The car says I'm not putting in the correct PIN when I most certainly am.

3. The theme doesn't seem to be quite right. Shouldn't the softbar be transparent? Is that even an option? At least a solid color so we can change the background without it clashing. I love some of the dark textures, btw!

4. Sharepoints! I would love to have the Sharepoints Workspace app in the Office distribution. I tried installing the full Office from the Marketplace, but it still wouldn't work.

5. MMTask seems to crash sometimes, whereas Energy used Arkswitch which seemed more stable. Any reason you like MMTask better?

6. I really enjoyed having RAM usage in a quicklaunch spot. Any chance of getting those monitoring mini-apps in? Not sure where Energy had them from, but they disappeared from there at some point too.

Other than that, this phone is very much so usable again, along with a 710mhz overclock with WiMoSpeed
1. I'll look into this
2. Strange, not sure why it wouldn't sync
3. There is actually no such thing as transparent soft bars or task bars in WM (with the exception of titanium). We can just simulate it by using the skin Taskbar/Softbar feature of CHT. What it does is takes a snap shot of the top and/or bottom of the selected wallpaper and inserts the new images into the current theme.
4. I'll see about including it in the next release.
5. I like them both and I keep going back and forth between them. I may use Arkswitch for the next release instead.
6. I probably won't include that, but you can install it by cab. Search BattClock

i think he meant an app for looking at the free memory available and RAM/cpu usage. maybe like the CHTAddon_StateLinks_v1.0.cab (which i could never get to work properly for some reason), but would love it if you could incorporate it into the next build as well.

cab can be found here: xda-developers - View Single Post - [Manila][12-Nov-2010] Co0kie's Home Tab v2.0.0 - Final Released for me it always just added another weather widget option in CHT for some reason, kind of weird...

Re: [ROM] Project: Teya 1.3.0 [23-Dec-2010]

This is even better! A chef that actually responds when you write on the wall!!!

- Setting "Skin Taskbar and Softkeybar" to the wallpaper worked like a champ. That's quite nice.

- Also the Cookie state add-ons were exactly what I was looking for. Now I have a little free link that shows (about) how much RAM is free on my home page.

The proximity sensor thing I think is more related to the newer base WinMo's than anything. It started around a month or two ago, and I really thought my phone had an issue. I then found the toggle switch for the proximity sensor, and I've been hobbling along. Maybe when a new 29xxx comes out it'll get fixed.

Thanks again for your work on this project. I'm a HUGE fan!!! Where's the Facebook page? I'd certainly like it.

Re: [ROM] Project: Teya 1.3.0 [23-Dec-2010]

Okay, one last thing that's cropped up recently:

My headphone jack has always been a little finicky, thinking it has something plugged into it when it doesn't. It has gotten progressively worse as time has gone on, and I'd love to have a way to make all of the sounds play on the phone's speaker rather than the headphone jack. Currently, my ringtone is coming out but not any other sounds, even the volume up and down and alarms. Any ideas on where to dig in the registry to change this?

Thanks again,

-Nate

I read somewhere that their is an issue if you unplug the phone with the headphones plugged in. Try plugging your phone into the charging cable with the headphones plugged in first, then unplug the headphones prior to unplugging the usb/charging cable. if that doesnt work then idk whats up.

also @jmart idk if this is my phone or the rom, but it seems the longer i have teya installed the more bugs pop up. i love the rom but dunno why after 3 weeks since my last flash its starting to get buggier. just weird things like HTC Messaging wont load up until I soft reset sometimes.

looking forward to 1.4.0

Re: [ROM] Project: Teya 1.3.0 [23-Dec-2010]

Thanks for that tip, but, alas, it didn't work. I hadn't actually plugged anything into the headphones for several weeks, and I had fiddled with the port enough to make it work for a while, but then, one day, it just died again. Kind of rough not knowing when emails and stuff come in. I'm really tempted to just de-solder the darn thing and remove it, but I'd rather not trash this phone until a replacement is available.

Just checked Verizon, and they don't have any decent WinMo phones left, at all. I hope that means they're clearing inventory for Phone 7, and we will see it before June.

Re: [ROM] Project: Teya 1.3.0 [23-Dec-2010]

hi jmart518,

project teya1.30 is great rom and i love it , moved from nrgz rom to teya. Got one problem. while setting up mail accounts everything is fine except for hotmail. If i try to setup hotmail account setup screen directly taking me to online to hotmail live account to login to access my emails instead of download to the phone. Dont have problem while with nrgz rom. Sorry for my english and please let me know any wrong doing.
