That nailed it although I am not using Turbo. It renders the page tiny and I think it's wayyyyy slower. The regedit is EXACTLY what I was hoping for. See what the newer builds do but this really great.

The new 1.9 is pretty stable. Sometimes doesn't unlock right away, but it doesn't freeze either like other custom ROM's. Additionally a few times a hotmail has opened but then closed when I'm in TF. Doesn't bother me but not as stable as 21XXX ROM. I really like this.

I'll test every Opera build or ROM you throw up there.

BTW ordering my wife the Incredible. She's ready to throw her Saga out the car window.

Pardon my ignorance, but can I use a 235xx rom on my 21874 phone?? Are those builds just having to do with the Windows mobile version? Can someone point me to a site with info on that? I tried to search but didn't get much. Thanx

Yes, you can... 235XX is a newer version of WM, still in beta stage, so may have a few glitches/bugs, but with improved/better graphics with the start menu button at the bottom left of the screen, PIE, etc.. known as WM 6.5.5 ...

218XX and 219XX are WM 6.5, stable, faster...start menu at top left of the screen....these builds are used on the stock roms out there....

I'm using 1.9 Verizon Light. Is there a way to change the color of the phone keypad back to white, it's hard for me to see the letters on the black keypad.

had the same issue this morning with 235xx that I had with a couple drellisdee roms. Screen wouldn't wake up even though the buttons seemed to be responding.
I pulled the battery to reset. after reset my hotmail froze the phone. going back to 21xxx

She wanted to try the 235XX , I told her it was a beta but she wouldn't take no for an answer. She had some email problems and the dreaded freeze. We agreed it wasn't ready for prime time yet. Went back to 1.9 plain vzw and she is happy again with the best.

Came in for another look and I love 1.9 however after getting used to the oversized menu on the bottom from 235xx I can't go back. I'll check back again once you make the jump.

In the mean time here are some bugs I ran across in 1.9a Verizon Light:
-Can't send picture from album, doesn't attach the image
-When trying to send pic from creating a new pic message the browsing is incredibly slow and freezes up the phone. Practically speaking it just doesn't work.

I have the same 2 problems. Always have to go to pictures and videos to send mms.

Thank you. Helped a little. I think I'll stay with 21874 for now. I don't use the wm6.5 UI much anyway.
