Then you know that you were not . I was talking about the questions like " how do you find My Location for the weather?" , "how do you open the start menu?",

i noticed that when I flashed the 1.7 customized Verizon build that the rom version veing flashed was 1.6, and not 1.7 anyone else getting this?

Does anyone know where the .jpg and thumb files for the Reader book cover files go? I have them in the windows folder but on the reader sense tab it's just a generic icon of a book on each cover. I guess when using activesync somehow those files get converted or something. Thanks if anyone can help.

The images go in the Windows folder, but you also need to put them in: My Documents\Reader\Images

Thank you. I had the images in windows folder, and when I opened the reader it said that the link to the books was broken. I think activesync did something with it when I selected to sync files. I ended up re-flashing and don't sync files.

Im using the 1.7 everything is working great but i use my phone to listen to songs in my car and now it wont work through my 3.5mm adaptor to my kenwood...fyi, damn just read that you arent supporting anymore.. but i understand....i liked yours the most so you know....

I can certainly understand your frustration and thanks for all your hard work to date. This is a whole new world to me and you made it easier to navigate.

To the rest of the gang. Regarding 1.7 is anyone using it with Live Mail. Any phone freeze issues. I am using Drellisdee's build and added CHT. It has been relatively stable but I have had several freezes based around email use.

Looking forward to your 1.7 comments.

So, what ROM might some of you try now that this one is EOL? Are there any that have Vcast TV working that you're aware of?

Here's the Rom I'm currently on.. it's the 1.7version and have been on it for 22 1/2 hours now. I can tell you already that it's a major improvement over the 1.6 and 1.5 as far as stability goes.. I was almost ready to revert to the 1.4, which I had run for a week and thought that nothing could beat that one. but I'm really happy and pleased with the 1.7 now. and just to let you know some of my settings... i've done the battery tweak right after the flash... and made the following changes ..

weather... is set to update every 3o mins.
email ... checks every 60 mins.
Twitter.. checks every 2 hrs.
Facebook .. checks every 2hrs.

I use the phone to talk on for about an hour or 2 at the most every day.
I use the google maps for both latitude and gps on and off all day in a 6hr span.
I frequently use Bing on certain findings about an hour/ daily
i text frequently.

and my battery has lasted this whole time as of 8 am till now 15 1/2 hrs later, with 54% still available.

I have "My Light" cab installed and set it to the 3rd notch from the bottom when I use it for battery use, it helps conserve life, but you can adjust it yourself, giving you more flexiblility versus the automatic adjustments.

That's it.. just had to offer my thoughts was all.. I believe i'll be sticking with the " Customized Rom_1.7_ verizon_ Light" it has the best speed and no bloatware from verizon and gives me stabliltiy when I need it. not one lockup and no more restarts unless I install a new app.

Where can I get "My Light" cab file? I googled it and couldn't find anything. Any help with battery is great.
