Giving the GTX themed ROM another go. (23566 May) 1 I'm liking it much better than the previous version, or should I say the 1st NRG GTX themed ROM. Much snappier although it hung during first boot. It seemed the screen was frozen but my XDA_UC was running apparently in the background anyway and so I pulled the battery and it rebooted just fine. Without Sense turned on it's even faster. LOVE the Settings Export feature on there, although it doesn't say where it's exporting the settings to, I hope the storage card so it can pick them up if I hard reset.

Its terribly annoying and makes all your sounds very low, almost unable to hear. After a soft-reset, it seems to go back to normal for a while, but always ends up coming out of the earpiece.

Is there anything that can be done?

Are you guys using Visual Voice Mail? I have had this problem with all versions of VVM. From a soft reset, the sound comes out of the handset. If I receive a voicemail (or open VVM for any reason), then the sound switches to the earpiece and stays that way. In fact usually there is a noticible background hiss on the earpiece like it is active, even when its not. A soft reset fixes it until the next time that VVM runs.

I flashed Energy.IMAGIO.23566.Sense2.5.Cookie.HomeTab.May.01 last night and am having the following issues:

1. Battery life - OMG....full charge last night, and I'm down to 49% in 2 hours.

2. Text messages are garbled. I receive them, but they are not readable. The text does seem to have some type of header information in it. I have been able to receive some text messages that were ok. so, some are illegible, and some work ok.


3. Several programs will not open, including Opera on the homescreen. It says that either they are "not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found"

4. On a soft reset I get an unexpected error has occurred in ArkSwitch.exe. ArkSwitch will not run any longer. It was fine last night when I flashed, and the only thing that I've done is install the latest version of VVM because the included version was giving me the "not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found" error. I uninstalled VVM, and still have the same issue with ArkSwitch.

Hopefully there are fixes for the issues because now I am ADDICTED to this ROM. I have been running MR1 for awhile just to see what the stock ROM would be like, but this ROM is :boobies:

Well, I'm a dumbass...after cleaning up a bunch of old folders from the memory card and doing a hard reset everything APPEARS to be good again.....except the battery life.....but I can live with it. Hopefully someone will find a solution to prolong battery life to an acceptable level. Thats what I get for flashing at 2:00 in the morning.....

Sorry to be a bother but I had a few questions. Hope someone can help me out with those. I'm running the stable version 21901.

1) I've a subscription for Verizon TV. How do I get it back to work on this ROM version
2) I like the footprints tab. But somehow the GPS thing is stuck. So when I use quick GPS and turn on location setting, the phone gets stuck on it and says satellites can't be found. I really need them for my GPS function.
3)When I turn on the phone its says 59% free on the top icon right!!! But then every time I open a program and close it...it doesn't release that memory and it quickly escalates to 82% and the phone begins to lag. Am I doing something wrong there.

Hope someone can please help me out. I don't know if these classify as bugs...or me just being a noob.

I agree with Kilroy switch the network to cdma, are you sure it's not a bad flash or your phone? I mean honestly I had not charged my phone for two days and used it every one of those two days (heavy) and I still had 22% battery life by 2PM today.

Dude - I am not even using NRG - I am not even using SENSE! & I never get more than 8 hours of heavy use w/o dead battery! Ever! & yes -cdma only. No push. blah blah blah all that stuff. been using the same rom for 2 months.
