Jan 06 ROM (29007 CHT2.0 sencity) + WinMoSpeed 1.3 is nice... Excellent work on this one, seems to be the best yet.

Ok Guys,

Have patients with me, I've searched all around and to say this forum is unorganized is well kind of an understatement. I'm looking for a very high level "how to" for the Imagio and how to install this ROM.

I'm attempting to install the Titanium Rom,

Here's what I've done, what am I missing.

I have ensured that my Imagio has a good sync relationship with outlook and Device Manager

I have unzipped the 7z file Energy.IMAGIO.28244.Titanium.Dec.21.7z and executed the Imagio_SoftwareUpgrade.exe and executed it as "Run as Administrator"

Do you have to have the phone HARDSPL unlocked first? If so where can I obtain this application safely? Every link I go to on this forum to download this application my computer says there is a virus attached to the file. Any help you all can provide would be appreciated. The stock rom is getting boring, and honestly is buggy.

I just factory reset my phone today because I was getting lots of lockups etc, and my alarms weren't going off, etc.

So hard with just running the Imagio_SoftwareUpgrade.exe application as directed, the phone gets up to the status bar loader and does not progress. I am then prompted to attempt recovery.

Yes you need to use the HardSPL first to unlock the phone for custom ROM flashing. The link on the forums here above this section is valid and throws false positives to many virus programs but many of us have used it and it is safe. Once that is successful, you run the exe you mentioned above for the ROM version you wish to flash and let it go!

Just flashed Jan 06. I was on the Sept. 08 ROM. No matter what I do I cannot get Youtube to log in on the data screen. I know the user/pass is correct as it works when logging in on my PC...

Flashed Jan 06 last night; so far - it looks great. Did not try the Youtube thing yet though.

Anyone know if there is a way to change the search engine on the Internet tab?

Not a big fan of the "Free Links". I prefer the old CHT with pages of links. I made it work however and it seems to be running fine.

If you use BS Tweak and tell the phone to leave Wifi on when the phone is in standby, you still lose your Wifi router when the phone goes blank. Is there a way to tell the phone to stay connected when it is in standby?
