Phone will not dial contact numbers stored with US country code (+1). There is no dial tone, just silence. After about 30 sec I get an error message "Network Busy, Please try again later"

How do you go back to using the compact (or other) start menu once you have selected the HTC Sense start menu?

Once I choose the HTC Sense start menu option, I do not get an option for Settings when I select the windows icon or press the Windows key; only the programs show up. I had to open file explorer, and open an executable from the Windows folder to be able to choose another start menu. There has to be a simpler way and I am clearly missing it! TIA.

You may have already figured it out but which ROM are you using? I am using 21680 oct 7 classic and I have the option to switch menu layouts: Start -> Settings -> Start Menu Layout Switch

I am using the 21681 ROM with CHT2. Once I change my start menu layout to HTC Sense, I do not get a settings menu from the start menu. Only Programs shows up under the start menu with a button at the bottom for settings. When I click on this button, the home tab settings page opens up and clicking on the "All Settings" freezes the phone for a few seconds and goes back to the home tab settings page. There is no way to access the Start Menu Layout Switch.

I had to open the file explorer and click on \windows\start.exe to access the settings and run the start menu layout switch program again to reset it to compact or other start menu.

Don't know if I am missing something or if it is a bug...

Hi,
I'm using ROM 21681 dinikglass. after 1 night, the battery life reduced very fast 99% to 78% (lose 21%), although device in sleep mode. When using (not sleep mode), the battery reduced faster than ROM 23138 (older), too. With ROM 23138, my battery time life is 2 day. But now, with ROM 21681, it's near 1 day.
I don't know why ?
But i like 21681 because it's very fast and more full DinikGlass icons!
I wonder that the battery life is the problem of all build 2168x or not? If not, what application cook in make the battery life reduced fast ? and have the new build 21681 15 October got battery life better (the same as build 23138 ? )
