Will the phone still work though? Bc you need to flash a stock rom and relock the phone. If you send it back unlocked and running an NRG rom you have voided your warranty. If the phone still functions you can try using "my mobiler" instead of the screen (hooked up via usb).

Here's the thing though- I have used a rom like that created from another kitchen. And NRG's reference roms-even with the stuff-use less resources than the rom w/o all that stuff. So it dependes on who is creating your lite rom.

If NRG would create a rom |REFERENCE LITE| or something like that, it would be awesome.

Anyone using the Dinik Glass EnergyROM mind saving the icons as a theme in JWMD icon changer and uploading the theme for me? I changed my icons and realized that removing them reverts to the original default of sense, but not the dinik glass icons. I've also tried the .cab file with no luck.

Now that it's official and you can use Exchange ActiveSync to get hotmail, can this ROM handle dual exchange accounts? I'm already getting work email via EAS, but would love to get my live account pushed as well. Is that doable on future ROMs?

Youtube still does not play in high quality and the wifi router still shuts off when the screen goes dark for those of you on the fence about updating your ROM. Other than that, seems to be pretty quick and responsive. Like the new icons since the July 21st release.

On a side note, for those of you who have used both 219xx and 23xxx ROMs, what is the difference between them other than the placement of the Start buttons and the presence of ArkSwitch Task Manager in the latter ROM? Is one faster / less resource intensive than the other? I am trying to decide if I should stick with the 21914 ROMs or move to the 23xxx ROMs. I had tried the latter a while ago and was having issues with ArkSwitch which required me to restart the phone often. Haven't played with the 23xxx ROMs since then. Thanks!

stick with what you have. 219xx builds are much more stable and quicker than 23xxx builds. I used to run both with GTX but I moved to Ref 219xx now, no need to restart the phone once or twice per day. I can go on for a few days before I feel like I need to restart it. oh and the speed compare to loaded ROMs, wow, that's what I call smooth & fast.

Thanks for the response. I will try out the 23xxx ROMs some time in the future when I have time to play with it. Will try out the 219xx reference and standard ROMs next time to see how they compare to the cookie ROMs. I don't have a data plan and use my phone mainly for calls, texts, calendar and tasks.
