1x. Why? I thought internet wouldn't be working at all if the user/pass is wrong, but apparently 1x doesn't require it.

That's what seperates 1X and EVDO.
1x is basically talk/text thats why the data is slow and GPS will take forever to connect.
EVDO is a data connection

So I should try calling them and getting WAP refreshed first? And if that doesn't work, start over?

Yes have the WAP refreshed and also ask them if you are in an EVDO market, there are some that are still 1X only last I heard.

OK if you are 100 % possitive that all the PST setting are correct and you have followed this thread 100% and didn't skip a beat. I would say first open your dialer and key in ##DEBUG# or ##DEBUG (SND) and go down to the bottom left corner click it you'll see hdr and post what you have there.

I called them today to refresh my WAP, and guess what? Still no 3G.
