How do i install ROM on HTC 6900! Im Not a Noob Just never DOne HTC Phones

Ok try disabling USB in activesync Place the phone in bootloader the SPL should be SPL 2.31.Coke.
Then plug into the USb cable. At the bottom Serial should change to USB, then try running the RUU update utility that was erroring. If these steps don't work try flashing the sprint OEM ROM and then trying it all over again insuring that you have a activesync connection.

ok when i put phone in bootloader activesync doesnt connect and it still gives me the error [240] i even tried flashing the oem stock rom that worked but still no luck with the custom rom?

one question could you give me a link to a good custom rom that i one file that i can just load on my memory card for the vogue cause i cant find one

I see your on Metro PCS is that correct?
Also what was the original carrier of your touch,

v2.1jB is a kicthen pack where you have to build the rom first

hey ok i installed that rom and it look ok
can you point me in the direction for the one for the htc pro for the 6900?

&
also i installed the wap/mms cab i also went it and edited settings in phone like 10digitnumber@mymeetropcs.com and all that stuff...

but when i try to connect to the web it acts like it about to load a page and then it says

page cannot be displayed
cannot find server or dns error

any help? thanx

never mind i got the internet working now but mms is a no go i heard mms was down or something like that also...please help me with the htc touch pro rom for the 6900

Try typing it in the search button at the top of this screen I'm not aware of a Touch PRO ROM for the 6900 they are 2 different phones and there fore the ROM's are different and will not work.
