yes. i finished all the steps. its unlocked with 2.31 and i soft reset when it said to softreset at the unlocker stage. so... idk what's the problem.

hmm. sorry to bother you about this again...
but i redid the fix. not showing any satellites using HTC GPS tool. I started from warm, cold, hot, starts and i even did clear memory. NOTHING. each one ran for about 20-30 minutes and it says no fix available.
any help?
i used "where is" and it said "no gps connection" and i used GPSToday.

I would say restart with step one and do it all over again.

WOW. I MADE SUCH A NOOB MOVE.
i forgot to turn location on. -_-
so... now i get 4 satellites in about 1-2 minutes?

Ok, dumb question but can I use this same method on an old Alltel Vogue? It worked great on my Verizon phone, but I was given an old Alltel Vogue. It would be great for GPS only in my wife's car.
