WM6.5 Lock Screen.

Is there any way to have it lock the screen without requiring a password? I just want it to keep the screen locked while the phone is in my pocket.

If you want that, S2U2 is much better. It allows for more than just a lock. Anyways, just my opinion...

It does a lot more, but it uses more memory, causes battery to drain faster, etc. I too just want a screen lock. If the 6.5 microsoft lock actually worked correctly and it would activate automatically without a password it would be perfect.

I've been using S2U2 for the past year and liked it, but I wanted to give Microsoft's lock screen a chance.

Hi, I am using this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=386451 program that allows you to use the WM 6.5 lock screen without a password. It has a lot of additional options as well. Hope it helps!

here's the cab

You can use AE Button Plus. You can map all your apps to any button on the phone. It works like a charm. No password , no delays ..just plan locking

Mine doesn't require a password, do you have the pin turned on?

Try autolock.
Some are having a little bit of problems,
but when your backlight times out, or you shut off your screen it locks the screen, also has more options.

Well, I couldn't get it to lock automatically without requiring a pin.

I tried the program that someone posted above, but it's a buggy and stops working about mid way through the day. I'll have to hunt down autolock and give that a try.
