Seems to be some progress though since I now have the Verizon screen instead of the HTC or it just booting straight into bootloader. Last edited by LAYDO; 05-08-2009 at 02:58 PM. |

Re: Need help, possibly bricked...
I'm pretty sure you have to run the 040 unlocker then flash a non-gps rom. Do not let the customizations run. Then run the 2.31 unlocker and flash your gps custom rom. The process is similar to this http://wiki.ppchaven.com/index.php?t...IX_VERIZON_GPS except step 4 thats for Verizon users.

Re: Need help, possibly bricked...
kind of similar problem, my xv6900 locked up while going to contacts (maybe I shouldn't keep all 500 or so contacts) and the phone now stays in the greenish windows mobile screen (won't boot completely so I can't even activesync my contacts or pictures/video...). can I do that SD card boot trick??

Re: Need help, possibly bricked...
It get's past the screen with all the SW version info and the red verizon screen. Note that this is a bone stock phone without even the latest Windows mobile version
