When I replaced my phone, I submitted a claim and was getting a refurbished 6900.
I kept checking back every few days, until it changed to a 6950.
Each time I went back to the site, it continued from my previously submitted claim.
On their end, it just looked like I damaged my phone on one day, and waited 2 weeks to complete the process.

my touch has been acting up, i have had insurance on for a week, would they replace it with a touch pro, is there a minimum amount of days the phone has to be on insurance ??

Sprint peeps definitely suck. Verizon still sells the 6900 and never had the diamond, so there's no chance of us getting the upgrade :P

I guess I'll just wait another year and see if I can get an exchange on one of those nvidia chipset phones

nvidia chipset phones? And Verizon has the Touch Pro which is what im hoping i can upgrade to. If they dont have anymore 6900s then the Touch Pro would be given to you.

Quick question for ya, if you don't mind. The early Diamonds had a black rubbery flat back with the corners angled off. In your pic the edges look smooth and rounded off. Is that the case, or are my eyes playing tricks?

Edit: Nevermind. Just visited the Sprint site and saw that it has a different red back.

They said it has to be broke or water damage.should i do it than wet the phone before i send it to them?

I put a claim in for the Sprint Touch and didn't realize the 6950 was the Diamond until it was too late. Unlike SOME people on here, i actually need more sotrage card. :twisted: I called back and tried to get the Touch Pro but it was too late. They tried to give me the Treo 800w. I do NOT do Palm phones anymore.
I talked to a supervisor as well, I think they know something is up.
