*help!*

Hello all,
I recently bought a Vogue, and found this website. I saw Coke's unlocker, and followed the steps to unlocking my phone. After it was succesfull, I downloaded and installed Dette's Diamond ROM 2.4. Shortly after, I was unable to connect my Vogue to ActiveSync. Any suggestions??

What carrier are you with? do you know which radio version is on your phone? You probably need to upgrade to your carriers official rom first, also Dettes rom does not include carrier customizations you would need to install your carriers customization.

Try Start>Settings>Connections>USB to Pc ? Is this checked or unchecked ?

Thank you for the quick responses. I'll try to answer each question accordingly.

The computer does recognize the device when I hook it up, but activesync will not. I am running XP.

I am with Sprint PCS, but am not sure what radio I have. I upgraded to WM 6.1 from HTC's website before installing Dette's ROM.

My phone does boot all the way, and I am able to use everything installed.

Yes, the box is indeed checked.

Restart your computer and keep trying. Make sure you have plugged in the cable to your phone securely.

Try a different computer then and see what happens.

I do have the same issue where sometimes my computer will not recognize the phone via Activesync. I keep trying until it work (either by rebooting the phone or the computer).

make sure you have the cable plugged into the computer directly, no usb hub...
