Also, don't flash on holidays. wcescomm and activesync are not core infrastructure services and are often off on the holidays.
LOL ok sorry I had to.......
Reset your computer, reset the phone, let windows bootup completely (that means let it sit for a good 5 minutes after your desktop has popped up)
remove the usb cable from your computer, plug in the cable to your phone, then plug the cable into the computer (try another port if need be sometimes that helps). You should hear the bing-bing sound and a network icon should briefly pop up on in the icon section of the task bar. Few more secs activesync should see it and ask you to set up partnership.
