Re: bricked vogue...
2 .nbh files 1 is most likely the Radio upgrade and the other being the ROM upgrade,if flashing does not overwrite the towers then why did it do it the first time you flashed?
All I'm saying is I'm not sure why the updated Sprint ROM will not overwrite like the US cellular supposedly did but I'm gonna keep searching and trying to help |

Re: bricked vogue...
Well not sure what you are saying but it sounds like you need to update your towers via PRL, here are two files to use the first one is a .cab file second one is the Sprint PRL file...transfer both onto your phone somewhere and then execute the cab from your phone.
The other file is the PRL file, you need to manually update it You need your MSL Unlock code, if you don't have it, call sprint and ask for it, tell them you need it to update your PRL, and the store people told you to call and get it. 1. dial ##778# select edit enter MSL 2. hit view info (bottom left side) select PRL 3. highlight update PRL, hit menu (bottom right) hit edit 4. hit browse and navigate to and select the PRL file 60614, hit ok and until you exit and it updates This should take you off roaming and onto Sprint Last edited by Primenall; 11-29-2008 at 11:28 PM. |

Re: bricked vogue...
Ok this maybe stupid but nowhere did i see anyone say anything about going into the phone dial pad at the bottom tap menu then options
now your in the settings, at the bottom tap services then highlite network service then tap GET SETTINGS and make sure that your not on roaming only!!! Most roms don't write the carrier settings on the phone (because there usually not wanting to change carriers just the rom)but of corse they can and some do. Try this, look for a custom sprintrom that someone is complaining that it over wrote their (bell, vzw, ect) carrier settings and flask it to your phone then flash back to what you wanted Otherwise IT QPST time!
