About to give up on flashign roms... help!!

All games or just some in particular? what about common games( bejeweled,kevtris,solitar,bubblebreaker)

As far as I know, any graphically intensive game causes the issue. However there are some that aren't so highly graphical that cause it as well. Here are the ones that I know have slowed down my phone:

4Pinball
Acky's XP Breakout
Atomic Battle Dragons
Catchy Cadence
Flux Challenge
Fruits Day
Kevtris 2
Nutcracker
Pocketnester (any rom causes the slowdown)
Snails Reloaded
Turbo Invaders

There they are, in alphabetical order too . Solitaire and bubble breaker don't cause this problem, but they're about the only ones that don't.

Thanks for telling me about the app! Unfrotunately, I just recently cooked up a rom using ppckitchen that used this task manager... it doesn't close the games either...

There's no window for the game once I close it. It acts like the game was closed, but when I opened dotfread's task manager, it shows that the game's process is still running...

Is there anyway to build a WM 6.0 rom using ppckitchen?

Haven't tried on a current device. We have one archived somewhere...it'd have to be dusted off...that'd be a chore in itself.

Yeah, I did some digging around for a 6.0 ppckitchen myself, but I never found anything. I hope we can come up with something soon.

(BTW, I got my Touch Pro! But I'm not opening it until Christmas. So now I'm dying with anticipation, and getting WM 6.1 to work will REALLY help me wait!)

I have a question. Could I extract the gwes driver from the Touch somehow and use it to replace the driver in the 6.1 rom that I flash to? Do you think that would make my games work with the new rom?

Thanks for asking! I just decided to stick with Winmo 6.0. I added some reg speed tweaks, and now its running better than ever. My sis has it now, and she's happy with it . By the way, I'm posting this with my brand new Touch Pro!
