Remember that this was originally written for a 6700. That particular ROM and Radio will not apply to your 6900.

When I first started getting my 6900 on Verizon I left the original radio from Sprint on there. It worked fine that way. If you try to use a GPS ROM you will need to use a GPS radio. I am now upgraded to 3.42.50 and a GPS ROM but I did this after getting everything working on Verizon.

okay when i get a verizon rom to work and i dail ##prl or ##eri a voice comes on and says your account could not be verified or access number or something like that.

Did you try ##prl#? Did you download a ROM where the ## codes work? There are some dialers that do not have the ## codes working.

Currently? NFSFAN's. I won't be using it much longer though. Going to make my own.

When I originally converted I used the Verizon dumped ROM. Same one you mentioned. Not sure why you are having problems with it unless you are using the wrong radio with it. That ROM is a non-GPS ROM and will not work with a GPS radio.

okay i got the phone onto verizon now (THANK YOU!) but my roaming symbol is always on. Does this mean im roaming or is it always like this?

Glad you got it worked out.

What made it work finally?

Your roaming because the ERI information isn't correct. Did you try updating the ERI info as per the guide I pointed you to? If not try that and see if it works. It didn't for me. Sure wish it would.

Follow the directions and you should no longer show the roaming icon. Hopefully updating ERI will become a reality.
