Remember that this was originally written for a 6700. That particular ROM and Radio will not apply to your 6900.
When I first started getting my 6900 on Verizon I left the original radio from Sprint on there. It worked fine that way. If you try to use a GPS ROM you will need to use a GPS radio. I am now upgraded to 3.42.50 and a GPS ROM but I did this after getting everything working on Verizon.
