Re: Audio Booster, SRS WOW HD, TCPMP EQ... What gives???
I'd like to know how to get srs wow hd working again on my sprint vogue after the 6.1 install. It did make a huge difference to the sound quality

Anyone know how to fix this? I too just get the retry error when I try using the audio booster (it doesn't recognize if a headset is plugged in or not.

Bump.
I'd like to know if audio can be enhanced too. the audiopara.csv file hack seemed to help the volume when using the mini usb headphone lead to plum into car, btu I'd like to tweak 5 or 6 points along the frequency range to increase low freq and reduce mids. |

Get Coreplayer - it's definitely worth the $ - i've tried different EQ's and the SRS and the sound quality from coreplayer's EQ is defintely the best.
If you get a program to rip your DVD's (i.e. #1 DVD Ripper, list mode) it will play those too. I am able to rip 320x240 videos to h.264 and get smooth playback in coreplayer. |

looks nice, but I find TCMP does everything I need and I also use audiomanager in the car as I like the big buttons and simple layout.
I have a double din dvd player in the car too so I put movies on that for the kids, never found a real need to watch movies on my touch, I either have my laptop (on a plane ect) or I'm in the car.

Re: Audio Booster, SRS WOW HD, TCPMP EQ... What gives???
My solution is to EQ and do everything else (dynamic compression, FFT filter, delay effects, other edits) on the WAV file before encoding to MP3. Gave up years ago on trying to get portable player to do all that. It's just too processor intensive, sucks battery, creates internal heat, and begs for trouble. Probably not helpful if you have a huge collection already, but something to consider seriously if you've just started. Another solution is to incorporate an equalizer into your output system.
