You mean until now there hasn't been an official 6.1 release for Alltel? Man, I suddenly don't feel so bad about being with Sprint.

For anyone having troubles with TCPMP I attach a file that should work for you, the thing is that 6.1 changes the code or something, and the old version of TCPMP will not work. So some great people over at XDA made this new one. So here it is, and here is the link over at XDA.

the only issue I have with GPS is it will take 3 mins up to 5 mins to lock! in clear sky. but maybe I need to do more testing...

What exact steps is everyone taking to enable GPS with the stock rom, or should it work as is? I've enabled Location settings so it is on all the time, but I can't seem to get a lock in google maps. I just wanted to see what others are doing to get GPS working starting from the point of flashing the new stock rom.

I am just happy I found it and pasted the direct link when I did, otherwise we wouldn't have it. I would have to post the ROM on an upload page for everyone to down load from.

My location setting is on but yet it is not working after the fixes... GPS or AGPS

whats the reg edit that allows you to use google maps, live, or other 3rd party gps apps
i think it was in a verizon thread or something.

anyway i got gps lock on google maps and in my garmin app but only after i started up my telenav(i.e. 30 day trial). and ran it in the backround
