Re: Cap internet connection automatically?
Well unless you have a program/application/software (e.g., WeatherPanel, E-mail, etc.) that is using data on a regular basis or interval, your data connection will go idle.
Remember, when the arrows for your data connection are greyed out that means that there is no active transfer of data. late, Coz

Re: Cap internet connection automatically?
While sitting idle, there shouldn't be any extra battery usage, as there is no data being recieved. In fact, if you kept reconnecting, you may be using more battery.

Re: Cap internet connection automatically?
My internet connection sits idle as well. But still sends connection packets via the radio processor, hence reduces the battery. Dual processor. 400mhz and radio 133mhz.
Same with the internet and gps usage greatly reduces battery life. |
