Re: Finally Skype works on Voque
if a 40-something lady can do it, anyone can... really. You'll thank yourself later when you've given it a shot and can see the possibilities, especially not having to rely on what others want in a rom or just having to wait for someone to do it for you. Have you gone to ppckitchen.org and downloaded the buildos yet? If not, go there and follow the installation tab and follow the instructions. Read then do what it says as its said. It really is not as complex as you're thinking it is; the ppckitchen crew have made it practically effortless to use.

Oh no, you made me feel like my dad now ![]() At least my contacts list is not a post-it note clear taped to the back of my phone... (my dad really is that old skool) ![]() Edit: I have some kind of proxy authentication issue so I cant open buildOS here at work, I'm on kid duty once I get home so I guess I'm going to be just as much of a technophobe as my dad after all! [QUOTE=alex jb;390146]sorry, I wasn't trying to sound obnoxious; I just wanted to emphasize that building your own rom with the buildOS kitchen is not difficult.

Re: Finally Skype works on Voque
Hey, that's no problem!
I wasn't offended, ![]() I was looking on e-bay last night and a used CDMA touch can be picked up for $160... I'm less worried about bricking mine now so I will definately be trying to build a ROM soon. I've got the touch to do everything I want it to so far, it's just this pesky skype voice issue since WM6.1 I cant get... It's my pet project now to install a working fix! |

Re: Finally Skype works on Voque
There is a new version of Skype for smartphones. Supposedly that works on Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard. But there isn't a version for Windows Professional devices.
