Re: Finally Skype works on Voque
yes, but I can't remember if it was pre- or post- gps radio. and I don't know if that'd make a difference. I might mess around with the kitchen this weekend and see if I can recreate the rom I had when Skype 2.2.0.18 was working.

Re: Finally Skype works on Voque
Ah damn, I thought a solution had been found.
![]() I had .18 beta version working ok before the 6.1 Rev A ROM update, but can't even get any version to start up since the ROM upgrade. I love having my tomtom work without the bluetooth reveiver but I'm missing the skype chat and call functionalities so much I'm considering going back to 6.0 and no Rev A just to reload skype. A previous thread somone said they needed 3 files and had found 2 of them (NETCFv35.wm.armv4i.cab & sqlce.ppc.wce5.armv4i.CAB) but not the 3rd one, did anyone ever find the missing link and try that solution? |

skype .18beta to WM6.1 is the only way to go, because the newer versions contain some other brand audio-drivers, that just cannot work with Touche's processor in principle... |

Re: Finally Skype works on Voque
ok, here's my results from flashing with the 19209 vogue kitchen this morning. Skype 2.2.0.18 starts up -- it does not freeze like it does with later OSBuilds, including the most recent, 20270. I'm almost positive this was the build that i was able to use Skype on. I won't be able to confirm whether the voice works or not til tonight though; I need to flash the older build onto my activated vogue and then I'll be able to test it. Keep your fingers crossed. If it works, maybe someone can figure out what's the difference between the builds, as they're both wm6.1 and have the 3.42+ radio.
