I was wondering if there is anyway to get tha weather on tha touch from a diffrent site instead of using accuweather...it is so inaccurate is there anyway to change it???

Save weather.com on your favorites, or browse the software store for weather programs.

I have been looking for a weather app that doesn't cost money. I haven't found a thing. Would be nice if I could have the Touch weather though. Weather.com has premium apps...

Have you tried Weather Watcher Mobile? It gets its data from weather.com.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks to me like it's hard-coded into the HTC home plug-in to pull its weather data from accuweather. Plus this would be the logical thing to do, since they would probably need to parse the data differently from each weather service.

If you install weather panel, then just uncheck the weather item on your Today screen. I LOVE Weather Panel!

I realize that this might not be the answer you are looking for.....why not just set up one of your browser's home page with your local weather from the National Weather Service. Since your home plug-in needs to access the internet in order to update, it really takes no longer to do it my way. I use Netfront.....one click and I'm there. Also, around my neck of the woods, NWS is the most accurate of all the weather services. Here's a link.....just enter your zipcode on the top left.
