I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks to me like it's hard-coded into the HTC home plug-in to pull its weather data from accuweather. Plus this would be the logical thing to do, since they would probably need to parse the data differently from each weather service.

If you install weather panel, then just uncheck the weather item on your Today screen. I LOVE Weather Panel!

Since your home plug-in needs to access the internet in order to update, it really takes no longer to do it my way. I use Netfront.....one click and I'm there. Also, around my neck of the woods, NWS is the most accurate of all the weather services.
