I realize that this might not be the answer you are looking for.....why not just set up one of your browser's home page with your local weather from the National Weather Service. Since your home plug-in needs to access the internet in order to update, it really takes no longer to do it my way. I use Netfront.....one click and I'm there. Also, around my neck of the woods, NWS is the most accurate of all the weather services. Here's a link.....just enter your zipcode on the top left.
