I knew there must be a way. Thanks a million for the quick help. I hope other VZW users read this thread so they won't get bald (like me) from tearing their hair out! |

Re: xv6900 tethered modem help please ! !! !
Yes, I changed my dun nai. Since this change is what makes it "invisible" to Verizon, then why do you recommend using wmodem instead of just utilizing the Internet Sharing program already loaded on my phone? Aren't both methods using the phone the identical way to access the internet?

Re: xv6900 tethered modem help please ! !! !
I just upgraded my XV6900 to rev.A and GPS. I'm trying to set up Internet Sharing but when I put in ##778, it rings and I get a Verizon automated message. Shouldn't it go straight into the application so I can edit my MIP profile and all that stuff?
Thanks, uptmepo777 |

Looks like you let the sprint carrier cabs run or you are using non ## code compatable dialer. Try ##778# and see what happens as thats the sprint epst code :P. Which rom are you using and what dialer? You should also be able to get to the epst from your file explorer under windows and click on it. Last edited by Getitnowmarketing; 07-31-2008 at 11:10 PM. |
