Re: What is the absolute best radio for GPS?

Damn... Dharvey's ROM was amazing for GPS... but I couldn't run JiveTalk or nueMinutes... so now I am trying the official *.2 Sprint ROM... again...

Does anyone know if VIRSER_GPS.DLL actually does anything anymore? or GPSMODE=4 in the registry? I just want my gps to work as well as it does in Dharvey's... literally 5 second locks... and the Sprint one still only gives me 15-45 second locks...

Re: What is the absolute best radio for GPS?

So I figured out the difference... it was the "Assisted GPS Hack.cab" that he had included...

I found it and put it on my Stock Sprint ROM, running 3.42.30, and now I get 5-10 second COLD locks, with 5 second warm locks, and 0 second hot locks...

Before I installed it, hot locks could take anywhere from 5-10 seconds... which makes no sense...

The Qualcomm MSM7500 GpsOne chipset with NMEA 0183 supports up to 20 channels in the titan, which can be implied for the Vogue as well.
Here's my source (next time i'll include a screenshot for ya too)-where's yours when ya try to discredit someone? http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=pdacomp...d1=803&id2=771
