Re: Spent an hour searching for disabling sleep

I changed the value to 0, and have not had any problems yet so far *crosses fingers*

I double checked that it retained the key change, which it did.

It's happened three times in the last 24 hours:
1) while i was asleep; the phone was stationary.
2) while i was driving up.
3) while i was driving down.

During the last "input freeze," the screen was dimly lit.
The latter two make me believe it is directly related to the radio (hopping towers, in and out of 1x coverage).

Lulu... do you happen to be running S2U2? I am, and was wondering if it is related. People were reporting issues that when their phone rang (with S2U2 on 6.1) they were unable to interact to pick it up.

Thanks,

Matt

Thumbs up Re: Spent an hour searching for disabling sleep

alright gents... s2u2 uninstalled... seems this was causing the problem.

Possible solution:

S2U2 power issue in FAQ:

Quote:
Q. Some of my device's background jobs (like email sync or bluetooth connection) stopped unexpectedly when S2U2 is running?
A. Try to enable NoPowerSuspend.

Q. What is NoPowerSuspend?
A. There is a few options in S2U2 to set when to suspend your device's power. If NoPowerSuspend is set to 1, these options will all be disabled.

The HKCU\Software\A_C\S2U2 OffLCD and BlankLCD values may be worth a look as well:

Quote:
OffLCD=17 (x seconds after the backlight is off, device will be turned off; minimum is 5 seconds; 0 to disable)

BlankScreen=0 (when OffLCD is executed, 1 means do not turn off the device but only turn off the LCD)
[update]
Setting the above settings:
NoPowerSuspend = 1
OffLCD = 0
BlackScreen = 1

Solved the problem!
