Spent an hour searching for disabling sleep
 
Wasn't there a registry edit that you could do that would prevent your phone from going completely to sleep? I consistently have the problem where my phone will go to sleep, and pressing the power key very dimly lights the screen, but nothing happens and I can't get it to wake up with out a soft reset, and the phone does not receive any calls or messages.

upgrade to the new official rom, fixed all of those sorts of problems for me...

Where would one find an "official" rom site for the xv6900? Sorry if that is a stupid question... I new to this stuff!

From that hack? Probably not much. Read this thread on BatteryTweaks, or just install this cab which will help a whole lot more. It has most of the tweaks from that thread and a few more settings... My experience with GPS is, if you leave it on, it drains your battery pretty quick!

Same thing occurs. No response from any input (including power button) until soft reset.

Lulu, you having the same problem still?
