Re: Bluetooth manual connection tool other than HTC BT Quicklink?
My headset always just turns on when i make a call. If you still have the stock dailer it should show a lil headset with mic icon when connected.

I always turn on the BT through the Com Mgr, or through Quickmenu.......either work just fine for me.

Re: Bluetooth manual connection tool other than HTC BT Quicklink?
Thanks for your responses, but...
@Negrito: As I indicated, I am looking for something OTHER THAN HTC BT QL. Its limitation is that you must have done the initial pairing through it. It also takes up much of the Today screen, when you have several paired devices. The icon on the dialer is only present when the headset is connected. I am looking for a manual way to initiate the connection. @wmdunn: I am not looking for a way to turn on or off the phone's BT radio. I am looking for a tool or utility that will force the phone to initiate a connection to a previously-paired headset of my choosing. |

Re: Bluetooth manual connection tool other than HTC BT Quicklink?
The reg hack activates the Today plug in that shows the carrier ID and allows one to turn the BT radio on and off. It doesn't address what I'm looking for. Thanks anyway.
