Bluetooth manual connection tool other than HTC BT Quicklink?

For the purposes of manually connecting the phone to a bluetooth headset (after initial pairing), are there any tools other than the Today plug-in HTC BT Quicklink?

Sometimes, especially with multi-point BT headsets, the headset does not automatically or properly connect to the phone, requiring one to manually initiate a connection from the phone.

Most phones allow one to initiate a connection to the headset (presuming it is turned on). With the Touch, the Settings>Connections>Bluetooth panel does not appear to have this function.

HTC BT QL, assuming you did the initial pair through it, does provide that function. I have other items on my Today screen and prefer not to use QL. Are there other tools/applications that would allow me to manually initiate a connection to a BT headset?

Thanks.
