Re: Verizon XV6900 No Signal

Hey all, sorry for digging up an old thread, but this seems relevant to my problem I'm having now. Also, I apologize for hijacking the thread but I figured you all might have some advice for me.

I ran a stock VzW Vogue forever with no problems to speak of. Finally, like the threadstarter, I decided to take the plunge and upgrade the device. Ran IMCokeMan's 2.31 unlocker, flashed the newest Sprint ROM&Radio (didn't allow customizations), then cooked my own ROM (which failed) and settled on NFSFan's 6.5ROM. I *228 option 2-ed the phone and that worked. Option 1 didn't. I got an error message, called Customer Support, was informed that option 1 reprogrammed fine (despite the message) and that all should be well now.

It isn't. The phone starts up fine. I don't have reception. When I hit the 'send' button and the 'phone' pops up, so does reception. Only one MORE issue... all of the places that I had reception prior to the unlocking, don't work anymore; I can't even get reception in my own apartment, I used to have full bars on EvDO. If I'm outside I can get signal and even internet working. However, indoors, subways, all the places I could get signal... no-go.

GPS won't lock either.

Please help me PPCGeeks... You're my only hope.
