I thought I was also lucky I had the phone for 5 months and no crack until now. it sucks, but have the case coming so hopefully soon it will be nice and new!!.

runnr, no way would i let vzw get away with that. those bastards should not charge you to replace your wifes phone for a crack. unless she abused the hell out it, it is a mfg defect and within the first 12months they owe you a replacement. that is thier policy. i would fight that one with vzw and get a refund.

Gents been a while since I've posted..... I've been through 4 yes you've read that correctly FOUR 6900's with cracking issues. I finally just filed a complaint with the BBB and talked to a Verizon Executive Customer service agent out of the western headquarters office. He acknowledged that their office phone even had a cracked case. He was going to forward the problem to their equipment division.

Anyway Just thought I'd give you the heads up

mine, i just checked the tracking number that they sent, it took them about 5 day after they took the money to even put it in the mail. this is from usps

it sucks, there was no option tho have the faster shipping, I wanted it faster but they would not let me upgrade the shipping. oh well hopefully that I live in Hawaii where the post office would stop for gas they would drop my package. hopefully it doesn't go the other way around the world. or go straight to cali.

WELL ONE OF US SHOULD RECIEVE IT SOON!!. but from all of my friends at the post office says it sometimes takes longer because of the customs in the US. they might be checking everything

Just came, there were no installation instructions so I found the PDF online and it worked perfect. It looks sharp and fits nicely. Had to tear it down and put it back together a few times because I had some button issues or then got fingerprints on the screen and had to re-do but I'm very happy with it now. Take your time putting it together I could see how someone could break it easily.

Thanks for the heads up. I was thinking of not switching out the middle plate but mine is pretty scratched up by the charge port. so I decieded to bite the bullet and change everything
